Pressed on recycled marble vinyl with cool paper bag packaging, this 7” is very catchy, with Dillinger Four serving as a main influence. Don’t let the overly slick production fool you as this isn’t a wannabe commercial endeavor at all. Five young kids sounding tighter and better than their aging counterparts is nothing to fear. I like the song title “National Insecurity.” It’s clever, much like the songwriting. Can I get a furlough to go to see The Furloughs, please?
