First off, I think this might have been recorded and released a little prematurely. I can’t get over hearing the vocalist fall in and out of time, straining to squeeze in the lyrics. The vocal delivery is similar to Tim Armstrong of Rancid’s style. The music has sort of an early period Good Riddance sound. If the music was played tighter, the songs would come off stronger. I know metronomes suck, but I think it’s needed here. The intent is there but this release is hard for me to listen to.
