Feminist Library On Wheels Podcast Interview with Jenn Witte By Candice

Allow me to get hyperbolic here. I think the Feminist Library on Wheels (F.L.O.W.) might be the best thing that’s ever happened to women’s rights in Los Angeles.

This little mobile library gives our community a chance to enjoy the freedom of new worlds and perspectives through feminist literature and the joy of riding a bike.

A successful crowd funding campaign allowed F.L.O.W. to build a cheerful yellow book trike that can be found across Los Angeles at different literary and cycling events, ready to promote feminism with a wide array of multimedia.

Although not a cyclist myself, I’d been eager to talk to my former roommate and co-founder Jenn about the response to F.L.O.W., crowdfunding through social media, feminism, and the logistics and challenges of navigating a new community project. We also let Todd talk a little bit, too.
