FEAR OF A FEMALE PLANET: $2, 5½” x 8½”, copied, 12 pgs

A Pokédex-style rundown of a handful of female and feminist musicians from the late ‘70s to the present day. Not a lot of information beyond the basic stats: hometown, genre, maybe a little one- or two-sentence blurb, and some cut-and-paste copied photos. I’m totally on board with the sentiment behind it, and maybe some young kid will find this left in a newspaper rack or a coffee shop somewhere and benefit from the survey-course style of this thing. So if that’s the case, then awesome. But it’s really just a surface-level mention of each artist, so I don’t know if this is something that would hold the interest of anyone who’s already fairly familiar with this kind of music. Interesting and unexpected to see Gwen Stefani and G.L.O.S.S. profiled in the same zine, I have to say. (No address listed)
