FAILURES’ UNION: Tethering: LP

Can I just end this review saying that they name drop both the Gin Blossoms and Goo Goo Dolls? No? (Audible sigh.) This record features of a bunch of songs that sound like they could have been written by ‘90s C-list guitar pop bands, mainly because the band was inspired by ‘90s B-list guitar pop bands. It’s as predictable and dull the first time the late ‘90s rolled around, and I frankly am none too keen to revisit this era in music history. Grade: C-.
