ERA DEL VACIO: Self-titled: LP

Death rock outta Mexico, courtesy of Dave Rata and his merry band of cohorts responsible for bands like Ratas del Vaticano, Muerte, and so on. Flanged guitars and heavy reverb are the order of the day, naturally, with the songs themselves leaning more towards the punky spunkiness of early Christian Death, Part 1, and Burning Image than the cleaner goth sound that later became the standard. A glorious din, indeed.
