Hazy post-punk tugging at the shirt tails of the Estranged and Criminal Code. Merely reference points, however, as the Elsinores don’t necessarily go out of their way to sound like either band. The one thing I wish I could say is that they are as proficient as the other two bands in their songwriting. Some ideas seem to work for them and some don’t, but seeing as how this appears to be their debut recordings I also don’t see why there isn’t room for improvement.
