I can’t seem to pin the tail on the donkey on this. It has the rawness of a great garage punk band. It has similarity to Smogtown but hasn’t achieved that greatness. It’s got the dirtiness of a drunk punk band and elements of a SoCal surf band that makes you either want to go skate or surf. Hard one to pin but definitely stands on its own. What I can say is this worthy of more than one listen. Gotta see them live to see if the magic carries through.
