DUDE CITY: Self-titled: CD

Jul 03, 2009

An eight track CD of blues punk with indie and folk touches, which seems to be the product of a one fella backed up by a drummer. Not bad, but rising little above mediocre. A couple tracks grab one’s attention with ample energy such as “Vampire Boy” and “The River,” which really stomp. However, the disc left no major impression and I don’t feel driven to want to listen to it again now that the review is written. –Jake Shut
