Cosmonauts plays moody, bass-driven garage with a ‘60s Euro-pop aesthetic. Sadly, the songs are overly long, unremarkable, and entirely drained of energy. The languid vibe can easily be mistaken for boredom. Listening to Cosmonauts for an extended period of time results in one drifting off into oblivion and asking life’s biggest questions: Why are we here? What is the point of all of this? Who am I? Why am I still listening to this tape?
