CONCORDE, LE: Self-titled: CDEP

This starts off strong with “It’s the Minor Chords That Kill You,” a pitch-perfect slice of early ‘90s pop with a catchy chorus, but the remaining tracks don’t fare as well, preferring to wallow in softer, safer waters than expand on the ground covered in the opener. If you put a dance beat on a couple of them other tunes, I’d swear they were Pet Shop Boys tunes. I’m feeling a bit let down, frankly.
