So this is the last Closet Fairies release, eh? While they’ve always been a band I liked (especially their split with Party Garbage), they always kinda seemed like a band in transition. And while Razorcake has flubbed up their band name in the past, let’s set the story straight here. Closet Fairies play flawless Toys That Kill/Marked Men worship. Garagey, poppy, punk that’s always well put together. Who can’t get behind a line like “Don’t let them paint you into a corner of another rich man’s dream!”?
