This ain’t punk. Which is fine, if you’re into that sort of thing. Sounds, at times, like early 2000s garage pop in the vein of the Von Bondies or the later, plugged-in Bright Eyes records, replete with folk and psych accents. It’s listenable, but also something you could someday encounter playing at a Starbucks. The rare spaced-out moments, with reverb and theremin, are my favorite parts, but it would have to be freakier over all to remain in rotation for me.
