The Bomb are Chicago punk vets, and this is a rerelease of their album from 2005. Sound-wise, they hew close to the Hüsker Dü sound of frontman Jeff Pezzati’s legendary band, Naked Raygun. Unfortunately, The Bomb’s songs feel slow and overlong, lacking the urgency that makes his older band so compelling. This new edition features awesome cover art by the awesome Nate Powell, and an extra LP with bonus tracks and a radio set.
