Yet another beautiful creation by Dylan Kordani of Tensor, Backbiter, Naam Sain, Potsie, The Taxpayers, the list goes on… In this issue of Arming the Stripper: Don’t Let the Dishes Crust, Dylan talks less about stripping and more about navigating the difficult yet liberating harsh truths of self-discovery. Writing straight from the heart, she explores her new trans identity and bravely comes out to her mom. She examines the differences of her work-fem self and her outside-work self, ponders her lifelong struggle with the perpetuating circle of patriarchy, and discusses the disadvantages (if any) of growing up without a “father figure.” A great zine, one of my favorites. I highly recommend checking it out! –Robin Effup ([email protected])
