#389 with Donofthedead: Razorcake Podcast – All Female Vocalists
Life is unpredictable. I went from going to shows two to four times a week to not having been to one in over two years. I became a father. It has been over four years since I chose to take a hiatus. I do miss the community, though: the shows, the people, writing for Razorcakeand taking photos. Those are things I let fall to the wayside.
One thing I didn't let go is my insatiable lust for new music. I still download and I still buy. Coming close to the fifty-year mark on this planet and I am bursting at the seams with records. Packages are regularly left on the porch by the postman. I open with glee to see which one has arrived.
I’ve been meaning to put a podcast together for awhile now and finally got around to it. I went overboard and compiled way too much music, finally paring it down to this lean collection of eighteen songs. I even had a last-minute substitution due to a record coming in recently I had to include.
Sit back and take a listen to my compilation of female-led bands that I have geeked out over recently. Let's hope I will make a more frequent appearance in the future.
