Two tracks on the 1-800-Band side, steeped in 1970s power pop sensibilities. “Tropical Meds,” the first song, is a catchy, sing-a-long number akin to Joe Jackson’s early releases, island inspired, and feet shufflin’ tunes. Second song, “Good Intentions,” is a little more straightforward pop gem with Wavering vocals over a bouncy organ-filled beat. Good stuff. Snakes provides one song, “Fakeyed Heartscrew,” another song that seems to take a cue from 1970s rock, though more from the Nazareth school of long hair and wizard bongs than the sharp dressed pop of Joe Jackson.
