ALIEN NEIGHBORHOOD: Fear Is the Enemy: CD

Mar 15, 2022

Snappy Little Numbers seem to have a real knack for finding bands that can play “Jade Tree emo” quite well, and Alien Neighborhood are one of those. I tend to listen to a lot of this type of stuff in the wintertime so this is hitting the spot quite well at the moment. Coming on like a more lo-fi Promise Ring, these songs are tuneful and sad with some solid dynamics. I would honestly love to see this style make a serious comeback because as long as the songs are well written, it’s one of my favorites. –Mike Frame (Snappy Little Numbers, snappylittlenumbers.bandcamp.com)
